Borrowing its title from the imaginary game, playinghouse presented its eponymous, inaugural show at Hudson Wilder in Dumbo during fall 2023, reinterpreting representations and expectations of everyday objects.
By examining often overlooked forms and images, this installation encouraged us as viewers to open our minds to the transformative possibilities of the supposedly banal and to reimagine our relationships to the things around us, asking:
