The Solar Corona Lamp is a dimmable table lamp emanating diffuse light through layers of white glass, framed by tan powder dusted along vertical seams. As the light gets brighter, embedded dust within the glass shade surfaces like shimmering particles floating through air.

Kate Greenberg's design is a meditation on natural phenomena and sensory perception: its glass mirrors the sun's outermost layer, whose imperceivable waves of light appear as a pearl-like halo to the human eye.
